Three Arizona Wildcats seniors have accepted invitations to the NFL Combine, held Feb. 22-28 in Indianapolis.
Quarterback Nick Foles, wide receiver Juron Criner and cornerback Trevin Wade will all be measured, timed, poked and prodded in front of scouts in advance of April's NFL draft. A half-dozen UA players, including safety Robert Golden, linebacker Paul Vassallo and receivers David Douglas and Gino Crump, were frozen out.
All the Wildcats' draft-eligible seniors are expected to work out for NFL teams during the program's pro timing day on campus next month.
Foles and Criner are coming off stellar performances in the Jan. 29 Senior Bowl. Foles completed 11 of 15 passes for a game-high 136 yards, while Criner caught six passes for 77 yards. Wade played in the previous week's East-West Shrine Game.
