As promised, Arizona scheduled its Oct. 17 Red-Blue preseason celebration away from the Wildcats' football game at Colorado.
The Wildcats announced today the Red-Blue Game will start at 1 p.m., allowing fans plenty of time to catch the Fox Sports 1 telecast of the Arizona-CU football game at 6 p.m. Tucson time (7 p.m. in Boulder).
The Red-Blue Game, which has already sold out for the fifth straight season but will be streamed on Pac-12 Networks, is expected to feature two 12-minutes halves and plenty of the usual preseason hoopla.
It will be the Wildcats' only public appearance before their Nov. 8 exhibition game against Chico State and the first chance to catch a glimpse of newcomers Allonzo Trier, Ray Smith, Justin Simon, Chance Comanche, Mark Tollefsen and Ryan Anderson.
