Lisa Oyen resigned Thursday after three-plus seasons in charge of the Arizona Wildcats.
Oyen went 13-46-7 as Arizona's coach. The Wildcats were 6-11-3 this past season after winning just one game in 2011.
"My decision to resign was not an easy one, but I've decided to pursue other opportunities," Oyen said in a news release.
Oyen joined the UA as an assistant coach in 2003, helping the Wildcats reach the NCAA Sweet 16 in 2005. She later took over as co-interim head coach in the middle of 2009 after Dan Tobias resigned. She was named coach after the 2009 season.
