Bailey—German Shepherd mix
Age: 2 years.
Qualities: Bailey is an incredibly friendly girl who was placed on the euthanasia list at the local shelter because she was very timid and nervous in her kennel. Once out of the shelter, however, she quickly perked up and is able to make friends and trust easily (as long as initial meeting is low key). Bailey is fun and playful, loves to go for walks, and absolutely adores tennis balls! She is housebroken, crate trained, and knows sit, wait, down and come. She is also working on her loose leash walking skills. Bailey recently completed a six-week training course at sol.Dog, along with passing her Canine Good Citizen test. She is working on confidence building and she has no problem greeting new people, especially if they have treats or give her some petting! She does best with a calmer dog and people willing to give her a bit of space and patience while she gets used to her new surroundings. Bailey is affectionate with people she knows, and would do well in a home with children that are at least 10 years of age.
Fee: $125 adoption fee (no charge to foster).
