A blaze burned a building that stored vehicles on Tucson's east side Friday.
No one was injured in the fire in the 10900 block of East Limberlost Road, said Capt. Jay Karlik, a Rural/Metro Fire Department spokesman.
Firefighters responded shortly after 1 p.m. to the scene, which was near North Melpomene Way, after reports of thick, black smoke in the area.
Crews arrived and found a vehicle storage building that was about 2,000 square feet burning, said Karlik. It took firefighters 10 minutes to bring the fire under control, and stopped it from spreading to adjacent property.
A damage estimate was not known. Investigators were working to determine the cause and origin of the fire Karlik said. Â Â
