A woman from Agua Prieta, Sonora, was arrested Sunday for attempting to smuggle 246 pounds of marijuana through the Douglas port of entry.

A drug-sniffing dog got a hit on the Chevrolet pickup truck driven by Ana C. Gonzalez-Figueroa, 32, and U.S. Customs and Border Protection officers found $123,000 worth of marijuana hidden within the vehicle’s seats, undercarriage and spare tire.

Agents seized the drugs and vehicle, and referred Gonzalez to Immigration and Customs Enforcement’s Homeland Security Investigations.
