Some quick final stats:

UCLA made just 2 of 15 three-pointers and 41.4 percent overall from the field, and turned the ball over 19 times. The Bruins did manage to outrebound UA 35-30, though Josh Smith had only one board.

Derrick Williams was 7 of 10 from the field and 6 of 10 from the line for 22 points. He had five rebounds.

MoMo Jones had 17 points and Kyle Fogg 14 -- making 12 of 14 free throws.

--

Final: Arizona 84, UCLA 74.

--

Derrick Williams spending the final minutes of the game on the bench. He has 22 points and five rebounds.

--

Jerime Anderson hit a three-pointer for UCLA to cut Arizona's lead to single-digits, 69-61,  though Kevin Parrom quickly scored to bring it back to 10 points.

--

USC has beaten ASU 63-61.

--

Ooh Ahh Man makes his second appearance of the season during timeout with 7:59 left. UA leads 69-56.

--

MoMo Jones has 13 points, three assists and two turnovers through the first 32 minutes, getting a coast-to-coast layup off a steal to make it 66-50 and coming back with another layup to later make it 69-52.

--

Alex Jacobson made his first appearance since Dec. 5 against Oklahoma, presumably because Kyryl Nayazhko has not been effective and UA needs another big body against Josh Smith.

Jacobson quickly had an offensive rebound and asisst that led to a layup by Kevin Parrom, giving UA a 62-44 lead.

--

Another crazy tomahawk dunk from Williams to give UA a 60-44 lead with 14:21 to go.

Williams must have at least four or five highlight-reel quality dunks tonight alone.

--

Kyle Fogg hits four free throws after Lazeric Jones called for a technical foul while hitting him with an elbow at 17:05. Arizona takes a 51-39 lead.

--

Halftime: UA 38, UA 33.

Halftime stats: UA shooting 44.4 percent. UCLA outrebounding UA 17-15. UCLA just 1-6 on three-pointers but 11 of 19 from two, getting both transition buckets and layups from Nelson inside.

Nelson finished with 17 points and five rebounds for the half.

Derrick Williams had 12 points, one rebound and two turnovers. Williams shot only two free throws, making one of them.

--

Nelson fouled again entering final media timeout of the half, UA leading 29-27. Nelson has 11 points and four rebounds already with 3:53 left to play in the first half.

--

Jerime Anderson breaks inside for two straight layups to cut UA's lead to 20-17 with 8:58 to go.

--

UA 7-0 run gives Wildcats 20-13 lead with 9:40 left, capped by MoMo Jones' three-pointer.

--

Tied at 13 at the second media timeout (11:30). Reeves Nelson is in top form, with seven points and four rebounds, though McKale Crowd has booed some officiating regarding his play.

--

DWill another rubberband dunk (if that's what you call it) off a slightly errant pass from Kevin Parrom, UA leads 11-8.

--

Arizona leads 7-5 at the first media timeout. Josh Smith checks in for UCLA with 16:05 left. Smith hasn't been playing the first few minutes of recent games in an effort to avoid quick fouls.

--

Nelson is announced as a starter.

--

Zona Zoo students are holding up giant paper heads of Sean Miller, Kevin Parrom, Derrick Williams, Kyryl Natyazhko, MoMo Jones, Jamelle Horne, Kyle Fogg, and Jesse Perry. The head for Perry has special cutout extensions for his hair.

--

UCLA's Reeves Nelson (sprained ankle) will play tonight, though it's not clear yet if he will start.

Josh Smith (concussion) was cleared last night, so the Bruins will have all their key players available.
