ELIAS — Chihuahua
Age: 13.
Qualities: A sweet little senior, Elias has had some heartache and pain in his life. He was either thrown or fell out of a car and picked up by PACC, then came to us with an upper respiratory infection. Elias was adopted, but after about a year he was returned hrough no fault of his own. He doesn’t like to be picked up, but loves to snuggle and give kisses. He always has a smile on his face and a joyful personality.

Qualities: Red is a love and if he could speak our language, he would say volumes about the hoarding situation from which he came. He is in good health and ready for a home. Pango was rescued with him and really seems to relate to Red.
Needs: A loving, indoor-only home.

Gillian — Greyhound
Age: 3½ years.
Qualities: Gillian is a gorgeous black hound with shiny fur, beautiful dark eyes and a big toothy grin. A friendly, people-oriented hound, she is confident, house trained and rides well in the car. She has a medium energy level and loves to explore new things she’s never seen before like squeaky toys.
Needs: To be in a home with no cats but would do best with another dog for companionship.

Lil Bit and Star — Queensland Heeler Mix

Qualities: These special sisters came to Pima Animal Care Center in June after their owner passed away. This mature duo have always lived together and would like to find a home with enough space for them both. PACC’s volunteers say they are kennel trained, (seemingly potty trained) and amazingly easy to walk together. They are a little shy of their new surroundings but love attention from everyone they meet.
Needs: They would probably do best with older children, and would benefit from a moderately active lifestyle. Queensland heelers are a very smart and very loyal breed.
Fee: Waived since both girls qualify for the Silver Whiskers Club; just pay the license fee. They will also receive an adoption basket.
