Pause for Beauty
Toscana Studio & Gallery's next show is scheduled for Oct. 29.
"Pause for Beauty" will feature work from artists with the Southern Arizona Arts Guild.
Studio owner Linda Ahearn also will launch the "Breast Project" at the show. Hand-painted plaster busts will be auctioned off to raise money for breast-cancer causes. Artists will paint the female busts.
Ahearn and her sister were diagnosed just months apart with breast cancer. That was two years ago, and both are fine today.

"I'm in good shape," Ahearn said. "I caught it very, very early."
