FLAGSTAFF – The manager of a Flagstaff Mexican restaurant was arrested after a customer discovered a video camera set in the ceiling of the women's restroom.
Cameron E. Lauck, 21, was booked into the Coconino County jail on five felony counts of unlawful videotaping on Aug. 18 and has since been released.
According to Flagstaff police, a woman using the restroom noticed a ceiling panel askew and on closer inspection saw the lens of a video camera.
The woman told her boyfriend and the pair went to the manager to complain, police reports show. The manager went to the restroom, pulled the video camera from the ceiling and told the couple it was a camera that had been lost. He then offered to pay for their meals and put the camera back in the ceiling.
The couple called police and officers found the camera and a monitor in the manager's office with a live feed of the women's bathroom toilet.

Lauck reportedly admitted placing the camera in the ceiling and watching at least five women. Police reports say he told officers he "felt bad," and thought setting the camera up would be a "fun thing to do for one day."
There was no tape recording machine connected to the video monitor.
