New this year to the Star 200
• UA Healthcare is the new entity created after University Medical Center's merger with University Physicians Healthcare.
• The Arizona Daily Star previously wasn't large enough to be one of the top 200 employers on its own, but now includes the former operations of Tucson Newspapers Inc., following a recent reorganization.
• The American Red Cross Arizona Blood Services Region joins the Star 200 with 287 employees, including a related call center. The Red Cross unit opened its headquarters and call center near Tucson International Airport in September.
• Intermountain Centers for Human Development, a non-profit group that provides services including foster care and behavioral-health services to children and adults, joins the Star 200 with 255 employees.
