The Arizona Mexico City Trade and Investment Office opened Tuesday in Mexico City.
Attending on behalf of Tucson were Juan Padres, the city’s economic development specialist for international trade, and Felipe Garcia, executive vice president of Visit Tucson.
The office is run by the Arizona Commerce Authority with funding partners Tucson, Phoenix, Maricopa Association of Governments and Visit Phoenix.
“It will be a resource for Arizona businesses looking to market goods and services in Mexico as well as for Mexican businesses seeking to manufacture or otherwise create jobs in Arizona,” Tucson Mayor Jonathan Rothschild said in a news release.
Tucson businesses may email Padres at Juan.Padres@tucsonaz.gov for more information.
