VXI Global Solutions, a Los Angeles-based customer service and business services provider, is hiring 200 people to staff a new call center in Tucson.
The Tucson contact center is at 6730 South Tucson Blvd., formerly home to Texas Instruments. The center, near Tucson International Airport is expected to open in early May, and the company says it will hire 200 workers by August.
Albert Galarza, the company’s vice president of human resources, said in a news release that the company was attracted to Tucson after an extensive search, partly because of the talent available here.
Thousands of people in Tucson are employed by several major customer-service and technical-support call centers operated by companies including Afni, Citi, Intuit and OptumRx.
Full-time opportunities are available for positions including account associates, team leaders, human resources staff, quality assurance specialists and trainers, the company said.
