Mercado readies for boomlet
Joel Sazama of Johnson Brothers Painting touches up the inside of Sentinel Plaza, the new six-story affordable-housing complex for seniors at 795 W. Congress St. Sazama did the painting work July 13. Today, seniors who lived in downtown's Armory Park Apartments start moving into Sentinel Plaza, just west of the Santa Cruz River. Volunteers will help residents move.
