Activewear, Mayan textiles knit into one mission

Patricia Ferrer, a physician assistant in dermatology, has designed a palm-free glove to protect the back of the hand from sun damage. The glove weaves together Ferrer's dermatology experience, her interest in textiles and her passion for Mexican culture.
As featured on
