• Gaming introduction: "I was part of the generation that first had video game systems in their house. I think my parents bought us our first video game system when I was 12 or 13."
• My first video game obsession: "'Zelda II: The Adventure of Link' for Super Nintendo. I actually found a simulator for that game on the Internet and played it again. It was just so awesome.
• My favorite games: " 'The Bigs,' a baseball game. And 'Guitar Hero Metallica.' "
• My highest score: "I've beaten the ('Guitar Hero') at expert. I would feel pretty badly as a professional musician if I couldn't beat it."
• How often I play: "Mostly two or three times a week. I definitely don't allow myself to play them regularly because I have to practice and teach."
