Santa's Theme Park in Chandler will open on Wednesday, featuring more than 50 carnival rides, millions of lights and live entertainment.
The park also includes daily shows by circus acts, music and dance performances, a petting zoo, and Christmas light displays starting at 4 p.m. Thursdays and Fridays, and at 3 p.m. Saturdays and Sundays, through Dec. 19. From Dec. 20 to Jan. 6, the park will open at 3 p.m. daily.
Admission is $19.95 for adults; it's $14.95 for ages 3 to 9 and 60 and older. Parking costs $5.
The theme park is at Firebird International Raceway, just off Interstate 10 at the Wild Horse Pass exit.

Tohono Chul Park's annual Holiday Nights, with thousands of twinkling lights and luminarias lighting the garden paths, will be held from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. the next two Fridays and Saturdays.

There will be performances by the Tucson Girls Chorus, Way Out West, the Sonoran Bells, the Privy Tippers and the University of Arizona Faculty and Staff Choir. Other attractions include home-baked cookies and hot cider; pictures with Frosty the Snowman; and the annual Holiday for the Park ornament sale, with 150 one-of-a-kind ornaments donated by local artists.
Tickets cost $8; it's $2 for age 12 and younger.

Experience the culture of several Indian tribes during the Native American Indian Heritage Pow Wow & Indian Craft Market, set for Saturday and next Sunday at Rillito Raceway Park.
Held annually on Thanksgiving weekend, the celebration showcases Indian dancers, a powwow and drum contest, handmade crafts, a children's activity area and traditional Indian food. It runs from noon to 10 p.m. Saturday and from noon to 6 p.m. Sunday.
The park is at 4502 N. First Ave., just south of River Road.
Admission is $7 plus a new, unopened Christmas toy to be given to local Indian children.
