Grab your comfortable shoes — the Black Eyed Peas are heading to Phoenix Friday, March 31.
The multiplatinum, two-time Grammy winners have an uncanny ability to get people dancing to catchy, exuberant, boundary-pushing tunes. With hit songs such as "Pump It," "Don't Phunk With My Heart" and "Let's Get Retarded" (or the radio-friendly version, "Let's Get It Started"), chances are your seat won't get more than a glance all night.
The band's newest funky genre-mixing hip-hop album, 2005's "Monkey Business," is still sitting pretty on Billboard's Top 200 chart after 40 weeks. It spawned a number of hit songs, including the you-either-love-it-or-you-hate-it single "My Humps."
Revolutionary rap rockers Flipsyde will open the concert with hard-hitting unity and peace-promoting music.
The show gets started at 7 p.m. Friday at the Dodge Theatre, 400 W. Washington St., Phoenix.
