"Choke." Based on Chuck Palahniuk's novel, the comedy stars Sam Rockwell as a sex-addicted con artist who pulls scams so he can afford to keep his delusional mother (Anjelica Huston) in a nice hospital. The sassy, often vulgar and always searingly satirical dialogue keeps the mediocre plot afloat. Rockwell has so much fun in the film that it's easy to follow suit.

"Heckler." Director Michael Addis' humorous documentary delves into the mentality of "hecklers," lumping movie critics into the group. Jamie Kennedy, an oft-maligned comedian, is the main subject, and the camera catches him working through personal issues and eventually making peace with the existence of naysayers. Loads of celebrities give insightful interviews, including Bill Maher, Carrot Top and Mike Ditka.
