Country singer to play thank-you concert
Country singer Randy Houser slipped into Tucson for a week last spring to shoot the video for his ballad “Like A Cowboy.” What better backdrop for an 1880s Western theme than Old Tucson studios, with its history of classic Westerns including “Rio Bravo” and “Tombstone.”
Visit Tucson, the region’s visitors and convention bureau, is bringing Houser back Sunday for a thank-you concert and stroll down memory lane at Fox Tucson Theatre. Houser, whose hits include “Runnin’ Outta Moonlight,” “Boots On” and “Goodnight Kiss,” released the video in June.
Sunday’s concert starts at 7 p.m. at the Fox, 17 W. Congress St. Tickets are $30 at foxtucsontheatre.com
