Serial Grillers Pizza, Salad and Subs is now open at 5737 E. Speedway.
The pizza joint is a spinoff of brothers Travis and William Miller’s Serial Grillers food truck, which specializes in burgers. As its name suggests, Serial Grillers Pizza dishes up pizza by the slice or whole pie, as well as sandwiches and salads.
From 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. daily you can get a slice and soda for $5.50. The slices are behemoth. A 20-inch pie is sliced in fourths.
After 4, the price is $6 for a specialty slice, $5 for a build-your-own.
Serial Grillers follows the wacky combinations template of its sister food truck with pies decked out with ingredients including boneless chicken wings, Habenaro barbecue sauce, black bean spread, avacado and bleu cheese. And the house specialty pies sport the names of famous Hollywood-made serial killers — "Texas Chainsaw Massacre," "Mr. Brooks," "Natural Born Killers" and others.

It's open daily from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m., until 10 p.m. Fridays and Saturdays.
