Deputies on their way to a domestic violence call in Corona de Tucson found a man linked to the incident dead in an unrelated crash, authorities say.
The incident started about 9:20 p.m. Wednesday when deputies were answering a report about a domestic incident involving a woman and her adult son, the Pima County Sheriff's Department said in a news release.
On their way to the house in the 400 block of West Charles L. McKay Street, southeast of Tucson near South Houghton and East Sahuarita roads, deputies found a crash nearby. In it, a driver smashed into two parked vehicles, the release said.
The driver, William Moorman, 26, was killed in the wreck.
Investigators later linked Moorman to the domestic violence call, the release said.
The investigation continues.
