Ready or not, here she comes. You can’t hide.
Former Fugee and powerhouse vocalist Lauryn Hill has been added to the Rialto Theatre’s calendar.
She’ll play the downtown venue on Nov. 26. Tickets for the show go on sale Friday at 10 a.m.
The Rialto announced the concert on its Facebook page Wednesday morning, saying that, to their knowledge, “this will be Ms. Hill’s first performance ever in Tucson.”
Hill found fame with the hip-hop group the Fugees in the mid-1990s, eventually striking out on her own with her Grammy-winning solo album “The Miseducation of Lauryn Hill” in 1998.
Most recently, her name has been in the news for pleading guilty to three charges of tax evasion. She is scheduled to be sentenced a day after her Tucson concert.
