Listen to the wistful sounds of a Native American flute and it's like hearing music whispered by the wind.
And once you've heard it, you'll likely be hooked.
If that's the case, you won't want to miss the third annual Native American Flute and Art Fair from noon to 4 p.m. today at the Quail Creek Madera Club House, 2055 Quail Crossing Blvd., south ofTucson.
Go south on Interstate 19 from Tucson and take Exit 63 (Continental Boulevard) east four miles to Quail Creek.
Sponsored by the Tucson Native American Flute Circle, a group of flute makers and players, the event will be highlighted by the 1:30 p.m. performance by award-winning flutist Scott August.

The 30-member National Danish Performance Team will entertain at 7 p.m. Friday at the Ironwood Ridge High School gymnasium, 2475 W. Naranja Drive.

The team is on a 10-month, 15-country tour. Its performance features acrobatics, gymnastics, tumbling, dance and drama.
Ticket prices are $10 for adults and $5 students. Proceeds benefit Ironwood Ridge High School student programs.
