Nancie Roahrig holds JJ, a Clydesdale, so Caitlin Reed, 5, and Caydence Lowe, right, 2, can pet him. JJ and Buddy visited dozens of children last week at Kirk-Bear Canyon Library, 8959 E. Tanque Verde Road. Roahrig is founder of Step Up Into TLC (Therapeutic Loving Caballos). The mission of the group is to provide emotional and physical therapeutic healing through interaction with their horses.
