Online shopping site of the week: Eco-artware.com (www.eco-artware.com).
Between the global-warming buzz and the coming of Earth Day, everyone seems to be going "green." But that's no reason to give up a sense of style. If the term "eco-friendly jewelry" still brings visions of scratchy hemp bracelets to mind, check out this site.
Eco-artware.com, in its own words, "is a one-stop gift shop for all things beautiful, well-made and environmentally friendly. We offer a wide range of handcrafted items, including jewelry, personal accessories, home décor, office items and business gifts — all made of recycled, reused or natural materials."
The selection, which comes from more than 25 artists, is really impressive — from an eight-piece sea glass bracelet ($100) to business card cases made of old circuit boards ($25 each).
