About Tubac Home tour
● Six homes will be featured on Saturday's tour, including the Walsh home and Kenyon Ranch, which was built as a dude ranch in 1938 and is now owned by Barbara and Chuck Findeisen.
● The other four residences are within the Tubac Golf Resort subdivision and are owned by Pamela and Marshall Brement; Ines and Tom Leonard; Joseph Wooler; and Walter and Ardean Rink.
● Ken Parkinson, a former president of the art center's board of directors, said tour-goers "like to see houses that are furnished to get ideas for decorating."
● This is the third year the home tour has been held to benefit the nonprofit Tubac Center of the Arts.
● The center opened in 1972. It houses three galleries, a gift shop and office space.
● Proceeds from the tour help support the art center's programs, which include summer activities for children and teens.
