A 28-year-old man has been indicted on a first-degree murder charge in the death of a Tucson man five years ago.
Robert Lee Toombs is accused of shooting Paul Bolebruch on Nov. 6, 2004, according to an indictment handed down late Monday afternoon by a Pima County grand jury.
Bolebruch was found about 2:30 a.m. Nov. 6, 2004, in the back yard of a business in the 3000 block of North Stone Avenue, and he died three days later.
At the time of Bolebruch’s death, Tucson police said he lived in the area. They had no motive at that time, nor any suspect information.
Details on Toombs’ arrest weren’t immediately available Tuesday morning, but he is being held without bond in the Pima County jail.
