When it comes to summer activities, many parents want their kids to try something new and have fun with their peers, but also keep their brains stimulated. Summer camp offers children the opportunity to delve into interests and activities that can help them grow and learn in new ways.
KidzArt, a for-profit art enrichment program, lets children discover various artistic styles and techniques using a variety of mediums.
With the last few weeks of summer approaching, KidzArt has two camp programs still available.
Here's the schedule:
• ART-Rageous Summer Adventures at Crizmac Marketplace, 1642 N. Alvernon Way. Open to ages 5-12. Camp times: 1:30-4 p.m. Monday-Friday, July 23-27. $125.
This program includes drawing, painting, sculpture and more, all inspired by famous artists. Kids can create their own masterpieces and learn about the artists along the way.
