A 28-year-old Tucson man who worked as a babysitter and child photographer was sentenced to 15 years in prison for making child pornography.
Christopher Flynt pleaded guilty in March and was sentenced by U.S. District Court Judge M. Roll Tuesday, according to Manny Tarango, a U.S. Attorney spokesman.
An investigation into distribution of online child pornography showed that on Aug. 28, 2008 Flynt received several images of child pornography from another person, leading investigators to serve a search warrant a few months later seizing his computer, Tarango said.
Investigators found more than 300 images of child pornography on Flynt’s computer.
Flynt had been working as a babysitter and a photographer for children’s sporting events at the time of the arrest, and had previously been employed by an elementary school and the YMCA in Tucson, Tarango said.
