A man riding in a pickup truck on Tucson's north side early Saturday was shot through the truck's rear window, police said.
After he and the truck's driver called 911 from a nearby convenience store, the man was taken to a hospital with non-life-threatening injuries, said Sgt. Maria Hawke, a Tucson Police Department spokeswoman.
The suspected shooter, identified as Henry A. Congress, 32, was booked into Pima County jail on suspicion of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, aggravated assault resulting in substantial disfigurement and prohibited possession, Hawke said.
The injured man was riding in a truck in the 300 block of West Delano Street when he and the driver heard a loud noise, followed by the rear window shattering, Hawke said.
The passenger felt pain and realized he had been hit by a bullet.
