Two members of a shoplifting ring that have been stealing high-dollar computers from Pima County Walmarts have been arrested, police said.
Both suspects were booked into custody on Friday after one was captured by Oro Valley police officers and the other by Pima County sheriff's deputies, Oro Valley police spokeswoman Sgt. Carmen Trevizo said.
One of the suspects, 27-year old James Stewart was identified in security footage from two different Walmarts by a detective who was reviewing both tapes.
On Jan. 14, Stewart and another man were seen on video taking two Dell Inspiron laptops, valued at about $1,000 each, from the Walmart on North La Cholla Boulevard, according to a Sheriff's Department news release.
Stewart was also seen on surveillance video from a Jan. 30 computer theft in the Walmart on East Tangerine Road.

The second suspect, 47-year-old Arthur Dent was arrested by Pima County sheriff's deputies and charged with aggravated shoplifting, Pima County sheriff's spokesman Deputy Tracy Suitt said. Dent has served prison time and had three other warrants at the time of his arrest.
