A naked man with a busted lip and a bruised cheek who was wandering a road near Sierra Vista led police to arrest two men on suspicion of kidnapping and robbery.
A Cochise County deputy found the 28-year-old man about 2:30 a.m. Saturday after someone reported seeing him nude near Moson Road and Arizona 90, according to a Sierra Vista Police Department news release.
The man said he’d been smoking in a bar’s parking lot when two men — one who had a gun — forced him into a car, the release says. They then left the parking lot, and the kidnappers beat and robbed him, then made him take off his clothes, according to the release.
The kidnappers then dropped him off, but kept his clothes, cellular phone, jewelry and wallet, according to the release.
The victim said he was somewhat familiar with two of the suspects, but he couldn’t name them or provide their address.
