TUSD will be holding two informational meetings this week on the new Infant and Early Learning Centers.
Registration for the centers, located at the now-closed Brichta and Schumaker elementary schools, is now open to the public.
The centers, which will open July 1, will serve children 2 to 5 years old. Infant care is available only to TUSD employees.
The informational session for Brichta, 2110 W. Brichta Drive, is Wednesday from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m.
The session for Duffy, 5145 E. Fifth Street, is Thursday from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m.
Families may attend either event. Children are welcome. The meetings will provide information about program development, staffing, construction and curriculum.
Registration packets will be accepted on site. To register, bring the child's original birth certificate, proof of immunizations and $150 registration fee/deposit.
