The Vail School District is hosting an open house for its digital learning program Thursday.
The Vail Digital Learning Program, which employs the same rigorous standards in place at Vail campuses, allows students to complete coursework away from the classroom using an online-based program.
While coursework and teacher communication is done online, the program offers in-person assistance as well an opportunity to participate in athletics, extracurricular activities and graduation.
The open house — which will be held at 6 p.m. at Vail Academy and High School, 7762 E. Science Park Drive — is open to students across the Tucson-area and Vail.
