The Arizona Department of Transportation will hold two outreach events in the Tucson area to solicit public input for the agency's Passenger Rail Corridor Study.
ADOT will set up booths at the Marana Main Street Festival on April 5Â and the Pima County Fair on April 18-19.
The agency is specifically seeking feedback on three potential routes that have been selected for further study: the Green alternative, which would run along Interstate 10 between Tucson and Phoenix; the Orange alternative, which would serve Phoenix area's East Valley; and the Yellow alternative, which would also serve the East Valley and share a right of way with the Union Pacific Railroad north of Eloy.
All three routes would run along I-10, south of Eloy.
The public comment period lasts through May 31.
