Storms earlier today dumped upward of 2 inches of rain in the Sandario Road area near Ryan Airfield southwest of Tucson. The weather service said flash-flooding is possible in the area.
An automated rain gauge with the Pima County Regional Flood Control district reports .87 of an inch of rain has fallen in the Picture Rocks area in the last four hours. About .20 of rain has been recorded west of the Tucson Mountains in the last several hours, according to the rain gauges.
