According to the March of Dimes, 13 million babies are born premature every year, and close to 13,000 of those are born in Arizona. The average lifetime medical cost of one premature baby is around $500,000.
March of Dimes and the Pascua Yaqui Tribe will host the "When I Grow Up Casino Night," December 1 at 6:30 p.m. at Greek Hellenic Center, 1145 E. Fort Lowell road. All proceeds benefit March of Dimes Southern Arizona Division, with the goal of giving every baby a healthier start in life.
There will be a variety of casino games, such as Blackjack, Roulette and Craps. You can also get a spot at the Texas Hold'em Tournament which begins at 7:15 p.m. Free food and drinks will be available from the open bar.
