Crews doing paving and road realignment work at North La Cholla Boulevard and Magee Road on the northwest side will make a major push next week.
Starting Tuesday there will be several new traffic control changes and restrictions for this project, according to the Pima County Department of Transportation.
These involve changes in lanes for turns at Magee and La Cholla, lanes open on Magee between La Cholla and La Canada, and more.
Message boards will be in place advising motorists of the changes, which will be in place until Oct. 25.
The West Cortaro Farms Road and West Magee Road corridor is being improved from North Thornydale to Oracle roads.
The project is expected to cost $69 million and includes a new alignment for Magee at La Cholla.
