This week’s recipient: Rosario Medina, an employee at Whataburger, at North La Cañada Drive and West River Road.

Why: Whether he’s cleaning up the parking lot in the morning or working the grill in the afternoon, Spano wrote in her nomination letter, Medina never fails to wave and say “have a good day,” even if he’s really busy.
