A neighborhood in the Houghton/Old Spanish Trail/Broadway area on Tucson's far east side lost water service today, Saturday, June 18, after a water line broke.
Water service is expected to be restored by 4 to 5 p.m., and in the meantime, the city is distributing bottled water from a trailer in the 8900 block of East Cooper.
Tucson Water spokesman Fernando Molina said he doesn't know how many homes are in the area without service.
