Tucson set a record high on Monday when the temperature reached 83 degrees at 3:32 p.m.
The high breaks the old Dec. 13 record of 79 degrees, last set in 1995.
This is the warmest December high since in hit 83 degrees on Dec. 8, 1981, according to the National Weather Service.
Highs will range in the mid 70s to low 80s until Thursday, when a chance of rain is in the forecast.
Highs Thursday through Saturday are expected to be in the 60s.
