The Salvation Army of Green Valley will hold its second annual Benefit Gala from 5 to 9 p.m. Saturday.
Themed Carnevale in Venice, the gala will be held in the Madera Clubhouse Crystal Ballroom at Quail Creek Country Club, 2055 E. Quail Crossing Blvd., Green Valley.
Last year, the gala raised $11,000, which benefitted Salvation Army projects such as food and clothing assistance, diaper and school-supply drives, and Thanksgiving and Christmas community dinners, said event chairwoman Julie Coy.
The gala includes a three-course dinner, dance performances and music by singers Joey Lessa and Regina Ford and the Allan Riding Quartet, Coy said.
There also will be mask and costume contests, a portrait photographer, a silent auction and a raffle.
The silent auction will feature Italian-made or Italian-themed arts and crafts.
