Several of the 100 microwave ovens, which are being sold for between $15 and $25, are stacked up as preparations are being made for the second annual Wildcat Welcome Rummage Sale. Everything from microwave ovens to mirrors are for sale with prices ranging from $1 to $45, said Julia Rudnick with the UA Office of Sustainability. All refrigerators microwaves, toasters and other items have been tested, she said.

A variety of mirrors are on display on a shelf as preparations are being made for the second annual Wildcat Welcome Rummage Sale. The items are from University of Arizona students after they moved out this past May, said Julia Rudnick with the UA Office of Sustainability. The Dodge the Dumpster project diverted 85,000 pounds in usable items, recyclables and food from the landfills, she said. Of that, 66,000 pounds of reusable items are for sale.
