A 32-year-old man shot outside a midtown strip club early Sunday has died.
Anthony Holguin was shot just after 2 a.m. in the parking lot of Ten's Showclub, 5120 E. Speedway, Sgt. Maria Hawke, a Tucson police spokeswoman said in a news release.
The shooting stemmed from an argument between two groups of people. It evolved into a physical fight and ended with several shots being fired in the parking lot, the release said.
A white SUV was seen speeding away from the scene, and when officers began to chase it, the vehicle came to a stop in a nearby neighborhood and the people inside fled, the release said.
One man was detained.
Holguin was taken to a hospital, where he later died.
This is the second fatal shooting at the club in just over a week. On Dec. 22, Hilario Salcido, 26, was shot and killed. Three other men were shot in that incident.
