A Tucson man who took part in a home invasion and then later got into a standoff with police was sentenced Tuesday to 7 1/2 years in prison.
On Oct. 23, 2008, five Tucsonans told police a group kicked in their back door, tied them up, robbed them and stole a van.
The investigation linked Craig Erhorn, 27, and Ralph Jessup, 59, to the van and the home invasion.
On Oct. 25, 2008, Erhorn was arrested in the 9200 block of East Tanque Verde Road after a standoff with SWAT team members.
Last month, Erhorn pleaded guilty to two counts of aggravated assault pertaining to the home invasion, one count of being a prohibited weapons possessor and one count of aggravated assault on a corrections officer for breaking the hand of a jail officer during a scuffle.
Pima County Superior Court Judge Howard Fell sentenced Erhorn on Monday to two 2.5-year prison sentences for the weapons charge and for the assault on the officer. On Tuesday, he sentenced Erhorn to two 7.5-year sentences for the two home-invasion-related charges. All sentences are to run concurrently.

Deputy County Attorney Rona Kreamer had asked Fell to sentence Erhorn to 21 years - as Jessup previously was - partly because the crimes were committed for pecuniary gain.
Defense attorney Chris Kimminau said Erhorn fell in with Jessup while looking for the father figure he never had. He also noted Erhorn accepted responsibility by pleading guilty.
