A 28-year-old man arrested twice within five months for allegedly soliciting sex from children via the Internet was sentenced to 17 years in prison earlier this week, plus lifetime probation.
Jeffrey Alan Albert was arrested in February 2011 and July 2011 after police said he placed inappropriate Internet ads.
In the first, he asked men to bring their children to him so he could have sex with them. In the second, police said he sought a sexual relationship with a mother and her young daughter.
Albert pleaded guilty to conspiracy to commit molestation of a minor and sexual exploitation of a minor in Pima County Superior Court.
He was facing a mandatory prison sentence of between 17 and 24 years on the first count, but Judge Clark Munger had the option of either probation or prison on the second count.
