Rotary plans 'Taste of Chocolate' benefit
Rincon Rotary's third annual "Taste of Chocolate" fundraiser, featuring four categories of confections by Tucson chefs, will be held from 1 to 3 p.m. April 3 at the Doubletree Hotel Tucson at Reid Park, 445 S. Alvernon Way.
Adults and children are invited to join in the tasting and vote for their favorites along with celebrity judges.
Funds raised will benefit the Rincon Rotary Scholarship Fund, which supports local students, and Rotary International's "Polio Plus" program, which has a goal of eliminating polio.
Tickets are $10 for adults. Children younger than 12 get in free with an adult.
Tickets are available from Rincon Rotary members or at the door.

'Respiratory Rally' focuses on COPD
The American Lung Association Tucson will hold a "Respiratory Rally" education day for chronic obstructive pulmonary disease patients and their families and caregivers.
It will take place from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. March 26 at the Doubletree Hotel Tucson at Reid Park, 445 S. Alvernon Way.
The event will include breakfast, talks by medical professionals, door prizes and exhibits.

Church is hosting country gospel event
Corona de Tucson Baptist Church will host a country gospel concert at 6 p.m. March 27.
Johnny Wilson will perform and accompany himself on keyboard. Wilson has shared the stage with Janet Paschal, John Starnes, the Blackwood Brothers, the Florida Boys and the Kingsmen Quartet.
The church is at 16540 S. Houghton Road.
