For the fourth year in a row hundreds of cars and car lovers converged at St. Gregory College Preparatory School, 3231 N. Craycroft Road.
The school was host Saturday to the Tucson Classics Car Show, a Rotary Club of Tucson charity event featuring cars and trucks from classics to new and dragsters to ragtops.
Carissa Chapek said she was "having a great time" as she viewed the engine compartment of a 1954 Ford CustomLine truck, the inside of the hood sporting just as shiny a paint job as the exterior.
The event also featured prize raffles; the top prize was a 1997 Chevrolet Corvette or $10,000 in cash.
The proceeds from the event go to the Reading Seed Children's Literacy Program, whose goal is to help all children in Pima County read at or above grade level by the end of third grade.
