Suite 121, 5615 E. River Road, bustled with artists looking for an opportunity Monday to display their work in the Southern Arizona Watercolor Guild's annual All Members Show.
The show opened Tuesday and runs through April 29.
The exhibition will include 72 paintings, said Bob Jennette, chairman of the show. This year's theme is "Light & Shadow."
Ten awards will be given out for the juried show. Vicki Donkersley, curator of exhibitions at Tohono Chul Park, will hand out awards for first, second and third place and best in show. There also will be a people's choice award. Prizes consist of art supplies donated by Arizona Art Supply and Sarnoff Art and Writing.
The guild was formed in 1971 with 80 members. Today it boasts more than 400. There are artists of all skill levels in the guild and "this show gives an opportunity to any artist to enter and show their work to the public," Jennette said.
